ABOUT ME

Jordan J. McIntosh

I am a strategic communications and public affairs professional with a unique blend of broadcast media experience, digital storytelling expertise, and a track record of community-centered program leadership. My career has taken me from producing long-form public affairs content for The Walt Disney Company to managing youth development and environmental programs across New York . The connecting thread has always been this: helping people and organizations tell their stories clearly, creatively, and with impact.

As a versatile media professional, I bring a diverse range of skills, including writing, shooting, editing, distribution, and promotion—essential tools in today’s media landscape. Unlike those who may be new to the field and label themselves as content creators, I have had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and navigate each stage of the media production process at a high level within the industry.

From 2019 to 2024, I had the privilege of working full-time with The Walt Disney Company as the associate producer and digital editor for Here and Now, the nation’s longest-running Black public affairs show. In this role, I coordinated interviews with a range of influential guests, including CeCe Winans, Styles P, Rakim, Christian McBride, Melba Moore, Aaron Pierre, Stephen A. Smith, Darryl McDaniels, Walt "Clyde" Frazier, Janet Hubert, Courtney B. Vance, and many others.

As a behind-the-scenes strategist, I played a key role in helping Here and Now stay relevant by leveraging my cultural knowledge, industry expertise, and connections to build collaborations with emerging influencers, encouraging our production team to place greater emphasis on not only our social media presence, but also selecting interview subjects with a strong social media presence of their own.

What truly sets me apart, however, is not the notable names on my resume. Instead, it is my commitment to driving impactful narratives that resonate with diverse and underserved audiences. In addition to coordinating interviews and producing TV segments featuring some of the most well-known Black entertainers, I've also provided non-profit leaders focused on servicing the diaspora with a platform to share their message.

I've produced TV segments and digital content featuring organizations such as Mount Sinai Hospital, The Fresh Air Fund, LIFE Camp, King of Kings Foundation, Harlem Grown, Black Health Matters, Environmental Leaders of Color and many others.

Whether producing high-impact TV segments, writing press releases or developing engaging digital content, I am sincerely dedicated to using my abilities to generate positive social change.
